Dubbed "a fierce musical force of nature" by BMI Indie Spotlight, Angela Sheik's work as an indie pop artist has led to features on international platforms including NPR, PRI, and Voice of the Nation. Her work is recognized by national and regional awards including a nomination for the 2022 Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMA's) and the 2nd Annual BOSS International Loop Championship. She has been twice voted Artist of the Year by Philadelphia's regional "WSTW Homey Awards" and was awarded Philadelphia Songwriter Contest winner before moving to the west coast.

Captivating listeners throughout the US and Europe with her live performances, Angela has opened for national acts including Meshell N'Degeocello, Joseph Arthur, Julia Holter, and Midge Ure. Music blogs have praised her work including Pancakes&Whiskey, Vents Magazine, and a nomination for "Album Of The Year"  by Indie Music Digest.

On screen, Angela's work can be heard in films, ads, documentaries, and TV shows including Toyota and ADIDAS ad campaigns, feature films on Amazon and Netflix, and streaming series such as "Face's Music Party" (Nickelodeon), "All American" (CW), and Showtime's "Shameless" to name a few.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Angela regularly travels to the east coast. She is now focused on her third full length studio project, sibling, an 8-song study of personality traits and platonic relationships.

Angela has created custom music for ADIDAS, Nickelodeon, and Universal Production Music and has a catalogue of over 200 fully produced songs. As a creator of custom music, Angela loves working to an assignment and a tight deadline. She's known to write, record, produce, and mix a new song in <48 hours. She works solo as well as part of women composer duo ASXAP.

With a background in music education and a wide general knowledge of the music industry, Sheik has toured, spoken, panel produced, and lead workshops around the globe. A passionate public speaker who is no stranger to the stage, Angela loves to use any platform as an opportunity to advocate for women, underrepresented communities, and those trying to find their way in the music industry. She's spoken and produced panels at various industry conferences and for professional organizations such as The California Copyright Conference, Guild of Music Supervisors, Female Frequency, and Production Music Association. 

From loop pedals to marketing to music licensing, Angela shares her expertise with warmth and humor. She's comfortable and familiar in both one-on-one consults and larger masterclass settings. With unique but polished skills in arrangement, composition, production, and songwriting as well as extensive knowledge in music licensing, marketing, loop pedals, and event production, Sheik has lead creative learning workshops around the globe. Working with all ages, she loves to help students move forward on their creative and/or professional journeys. Sheik also works regularly with blocked artists seeking creative recovery. She consults with professional musicians at all levels who wish to get their loop pedals out of the box and onto the stage.
